Give Chul a raise. Apologizes for everything wrong, and he even went out of his way to get a drink for another person when the waitress disappeared. Honestly amazing service from him, food was 11/10 great, and atmosphere was covered by the food show.

We made reservations at Benihana for 6:30 PM and expected a reasonable wait at most, but the experience was extremely disappointing. We were not seated until 7:00 PM, a full 30 minutes after our reservation time. After finally being seated, we then sat at the table for another 45 minutes with no chef, no food, and very little communication from staff. At 7:45 PM, we were then told the chef was “behind” and it would be another 15–20 minutes before service even started. At that point, we had already been waiting over an hour past our reservation time just to begin dinner. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication, urgency, and customer service. If the restaurant was significantly behind, reservations should have been managed accordingly or guests should have been updated honestly from the beginning. A reservation should actually mean something. Very frustrating experience, especially when dining out for a planned evening. Completely unacceptable wait times and poor management of reservations.

Wow! What an experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, server, and cook. Ace was amazing. He kept the jokes coming and the food. This was our first experiences at Benihana. We definitely will be back!

This was our first time trying Benihana. Chul was our cook and he did AMAZING! He made sure we all enjoyed. There was times that my kids didn’t laugh but he made sure to bring focus on them and find things they enjoyed. Definitely recommend!

Chul was amazing!!! my family comes here every year for our birthdays and have gotten chul the past few times- he’s the best! the new hot honey butter was a great addition
